With a full background of DJing, music production, and acoustic music, the multi-talented artist, Kevin Valentine delivers an experience that is quintessentially eclectic. He believes that drawing inspiration from a multitude of styles gives him the freedom to cross borders and limitations. Within the realm of techno he gravitates to the melodic vibes but can and will dive into the caverns of the deep when the moment calls.

The Chicago-born, Amsterdam-based creator, guided by intuition and inner rhythm, is breathing life into his vision of elevating people through music. Interleaving layers of melody, expression, and irresistibly groovy beats, he transports you to a place where it’s ok to let go and be free; a place of abundance.

Eclectic by Nature

Early Beginnings

Sneaking out of class to stand out front of the music room and watch in awe at the lessons in progress was one of the earliest signs that Kevin was integrally fused with music. From the moment it was possible, he chose saxophone as his first instrument. From there he studied in school band, jazz, latin jazz, and classical styles.

In his teenage years he began to experiment with many other instruments like trumpet, french horn, clarinet, and guitar to name a few. From this he began to explore deeper into what lies at the essence of frequency, sound, and ultimately music. What gives these instruments their character? How do they work together to form a piece music?

Around university time Kevin became interested in DJing and soon after got his first DAW. He immediately recognized the creative power. It was instinctive to let his wide-ranging musical knowledge and developed skill flow into this seemingly limitless medium. Today he is on a mission to coalesce these skills and experiences into a deeply satisfying and enriching musical experience with a distinct signature. He has a message and he wants to share it with you!

The Journey

From a feeling, to a vision, to manifestation. The path is often not clear. Risks are taken and sacrifices are made. Sometimes the music flows and other times Kevin has been forced to let go hoping to return again. But there is always something guiding, even when it seems like things aren't going well.

Kevin's main wish is to fill his life with as much music as possible and spread the hope, joy, strength, and elevated vibrations to those who need to feel it. This wish has led him to transport his life from his home city Chicago and move to Amsterdam to focus on music.
